Job description

Auto Electrician Location: Sandbach Rate of pay: £15.10ph Working schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3:30pm and Fridays 6:30am - 12:00pm. Temporary to permanent opportunity for successful workers Adecco are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems across a range of vehicles at our client's site based in Sandbach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical circuits and system functionality • Test, inspect, and snag wiring and electrical systems • Carry out installation and repair of wiring, circuits, batteries, alternators, and starters • Perform loom building and installation of vehicle wiring harnesses • Conduct van testing and ensure all electrical systems are functioning correctly • Install additional electrical systems and accessories such as alarms, GPS units, lighting, and audio equipment • Interpret and work from technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and manuals • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance • Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used Skills and experience • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components • Good understanding of electrical circuits and wiring systems • Experience with looming, testing, and fault-finding beneficial • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and quality of work • Ability to work independently and within a team • Good communication skills If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your up to date CV!
