Azure DevOps ADO Consultant

Contract: Azure DevOps ADO Consultant • Duration: 3 month initial contract + extensions • IR35: Inside IR35, via umbrella • Rate: Open to a discussion The role To re-structure and optimise the client's Azure DevOps environment. They need a genuine ADO expert who can design and configure the system and bring industry best practice to reshape how it is used across the delivery function. Key responsibilities: • Assess the current ADO configuration and how the system is being used across requirements gathering, sprint management, testing and defect management, and task management • Work with the Change and IT teams to discuss and challenge proposed changes • Implement the agreed changes • Train and upskill Project Management, BA, and Testing teams • Produce written guidance documentation where required Requirements • Proven expertise in Azure DevOps design and configuration • Strong grasp of best practice across Agile delivery: requirements, sprints, testing and defect management, task management • Able to review an existing setup, recommend improvements, and challenge stakeholders constructively • Confident delivering training and producing clear written documentation Reasonable Adjustments: Respect and equality are core values to us.
