Job description

The Registered Nursing Associate (RNA) will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary Emergency Department team, delivering high-quality, safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergency healthcare needs. The post holder will work within their scope of practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse while exercising accountability for delegated aspects of patient care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code. The Nursing Associate will contribute to patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, ensuring patients receive timely treatment whilst maintaining dignity, privacy and respect.
