Join an NHS Diabetes Podiatry TeamVivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist to join a busy NHS service. This is an excellent opportunity for a podiatrist with specialist diabetes experience to provide high-quality care to patients at risk of diabetic foot complications. If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a flexible part-time NHS contract, we'd love to hear from you. Role Details • Job Title: Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist • Specialty: Diabetes Podiatry • Start Date: ASAP • Contract End: 16th October 2026 • Hours: 2 days per week (to be confirmed) • Working Pattern: Must include Thursdays • Contract Type: NHS Agency Key Responsibilities • Assess, diagnose and manage patients with diabetic foot complications. • Deliver specialist podiatry treatment in line with national diabetes guidelines. • Develop treatment plans to reduce the risk of ulceration and lower limb complications. • Work as part of a multidisciplinary diabetes team. • Provide patient education on foot care and diabetes management. • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. • Participate in clinical audits and service improvement initiatives where appropriate. Essential Requirements • HCPC registered Podiatrist. • Previous NHS experience as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist. • Experience managing high-risk diabetic foot patients. • Excellent clinical assessment and wound care skills. • Strong communication and multidisciplinary working experience. • Right to work in the UK. • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). • Compliance documentation available for immediate registration.
