Job description
Job Purpose
To ensure the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel. This includes undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculo-skeletal (MSK) /sports and training injury areas.
Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
• Having professional and legal accountability to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), adhering to all directed standards and codes of practice.
• Adhering to Ministry of Defence (MoD) policies in accordance with delivering a service within a MoD establishment.
• Developing and maintaining of your own personal, Service and Professional Standards at the highest attainable levels through continuing professional development activities and maintenance of a portfolio.
• Having effective communication with all other rehabilitation and Unit personnel and with external medical personnel from other agencies/units.
• Assisting in developing protocols to enhance the clinical development and efficacy of clinics and Special Interest Groups.
• Assisting in identifying training needs and organising in-service
training for the unit medical facility.
• Managing and
prioritising your own clinical caseload efficiently and effectively.
