Job description

Responsibilities of this job role To support the safe identification, documentation, and escalation of equipment faults by accurately logging issues and ensuring timely communication with senior staff and service engineers to minimise disruption to imaging services. To contribute to the coordination of departmental resources by monitoring stock levels, ensuring appropriate availability of imaging consumables, and maintaining efficient organisation of clinical work areas. To respond to system and equipment operational issues by assisting in troubleshooting processes, supporting investigation of imaging system malfunctions, and ensuring appropriate reporting pathways are followed. To maintain accurate and compliant digital records in line with data protection requirements, ensuring that all patient and operational data entered into imaging systems is correctly recorded and securely managed. To provide operational support in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional imaging environment by ensuring equipment and work areas are appropriately prepared and maintained to support efficient workflow. To assist in the implementation of departmental workflow processes by supporting day-to-day coordination activities, contributing to smooth operational functioning across imaging modalities without direct involvement in clinical governance or training responsibilities.
