Bank Housekeeper

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Potters Bar Clinic as a Bank Housekeeper. You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service for those who have long term neurological conditions where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.  Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.  As staff bank, enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule at £13.11 per hour plus a 12.07% pay uplift and enjoy weekly pay.  enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule. You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better.  The shift start at 5am or 6am with finish time either 1pm or 2pm.  As a Housekeeper you will be:  • Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital. • To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation. • Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner. • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users. • Helping create a positive culture. • Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post. • Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare. To be successful in this role, you will have: • Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment • Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done • Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively • Be a good communicator • Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently. Where you will be working: Location: 190 Barnet Road, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 2SE Potters Bar Clinic comprises two acute mental health wards for adult men and women, and two CAMHS Tier 4 low secure wards for young people aged 13-18.
