Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Café Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, along with strong organisational skills to ensure smooth daily operations. Previous experience in a café setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met. • Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. • Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as required. • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, following health regulations diligently. • Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. • Restock supplies as needed to ensure the café is fully equipped during operating hours. • Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
