Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant

Overview Pay - 16-17 - £8.72 per hour. 18+ - £13.39 per hour. Your local store is looking for a minimum 8hrs per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. You’ll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it’s a regular grabbing their usual or a first-time visitor, you’ll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It’s a busy, hands-on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft. What you'll be doing Whilst meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Coffee Shop Assistants function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure and excelling in product knowledge to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. • Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way • Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers • Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy • Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended • Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers high expectations • Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience. • As part of this role you will be working and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork What we'll look for in you • You are customer obsessed - you put customers first in every interaction • You’re flexible, able to work across the weekends and evenings • You have previous experience working closely with a team and you’ll ideally have prior work experience in a similar environment • You are a friendly, hard-working individual who loves to provide a joyful customer dining experience • You are a team player who never fails to contribute and loves the satisfaction of a job well done and a smile on our customers faces We’re not after a carbon copy of anyone else.
