Behaviour Mentor Dudley(Clean driving licence and access to a car is essential) £110-£115 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term temp-to-perm (Full Academic Year) Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join an Alternative Provision in Dudley, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. If you are calm, proactive, and confident managing challenging behaviour, this role could be an excellent fit. About the Role Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs • Supporting students within lessons and in alternative learning environments • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies • Building strong, positive relationships to improve engagement and attendance • Supporting pupils to regulate emotions and successfully re-engage with learning • Monitoring behaviour and progress, sharing feedback with relevant staff • Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and social development • Collaborating with staff to implement and maintain behaviour support plans Ideal Candidate Profile • Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, ideally within an Alternative Provision or similar setting • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills • Calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations • Able to build trust and rapport while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries • Reliable and committed to a long-term role • Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player Why Work with Long Term Futures? • Long-term opportunities offering stability and the chance to make a real impact • Weekly pay through a straightforward digital system • Free CPD opportunities, including Behaviour Management, SEMH, and Positive Handling • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement Next Steps Apply today with your CV, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Elliott at Long Term Futures.
