Behaviour Mentor - HackneyProspero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a mainstream secondary school in Hackney. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with SEN experience, behaviour support backgrounds, or support workers looking to move into education. Role Details: • Location: Hackney • Position: Behaviour Mentor • Contract: Full-time, full academic year • Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 support for a student with complex emotional and academic needs • Manage and support challenging behaviour • Supervise and support the student throughout the school day • Help create a safe and positive learning environment Requirements: • Previous SEN or behaviour support experience • Experience working with challenging behaviour • Team Teach training desirable • Safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided) • Right to Work in the UK • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one • Two professional references If you're passionate about supporting young people and making a difference, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
