Behaviour Mentor Location: Haringey, North London Salary: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of secondary schools across Haringey looking to appoint dedicated Behaviour Mentors for the new academic year. This rewarding role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with students and supporting them to achieve their full potential. The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will: • Support students with behavioural, emotional and social needs. • Build strong relationships with pupils who require additional guidance. • Deliver targeted interventions both one-to-one and in small groups. • Work alongside pastoral teams, SEN staff and teaching colleagues. • Help create a calm and positive learning environment. • Promote excellent attendance, engagement and behaviour throughout the school. The Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone who: • Has experience supporting young people in education, youth work or mentoring. • Can remain calm and confident in challenging situations. • Builds rapport quickly with students. • Has excellent communication skills. • Is resilient, patient and proactive. • Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
