Behaviour Support Worker Location: Beckfoot Upper Heaton Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join Beckfoot Upper Heaton. Beckfoot Upper Heaton is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to creating an environment where every student can thrive. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning. A key part of being a Behaviour Support Worker is helping students overcome barriers, develop social and emotional skills, and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs • Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to create tailored support plans • Monitor and record progress, ensuring interventions are effective and timely • Act as a positive role model, building strong relationships with students and families What We’re Looking For • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children How to Apply: Email us at: for an informal chat, or you can apply by visiting:
