Job description

Academics, a leading educational recruitment agency, are supporting an OFSTED "Good" rated primary school in Batley require a Behaviour and Social Inclusion Worker to start as soon as possible This is a rare opportunity to work with children who may have struggle with SEMH and the role will be centred around the well-being and development of primary-aged children. The school are specifically looking for someone who is committed to developing a team approach, working with parents, teachers, support staff and the wider community. You should have an enthusiastic and passionate approach to the development of children and other staff where appropriate as well as a keen thirst for further learning of their own to develop their own skills. You should also be able to act upon your own initiative, planning and managing your own workload and prioritising and being responsive to unplanned circumstances, emergencies and varying needs. In return for your hard work you will be welcomed by an inclusive and caring setting with an excellent track record of developing staff. The senior leadership team are committed to developing staff to become the best they can be and promote and expect high standards of themselves and their staff throughout school.
