BI Analyst (Blackbaud & Raiser's Edge)

Location: Remote (UK-based candidates required) Contract: Freelance / Contract Duration: 2-3 Days per Week (Initial Interim Assignment) Start Date: ASAP The OpportunityWe are supporting a well-established not-for-profit organisation that delivers vital support, research, and advocacy for individuals affected by cancer. As part of an interim requirement, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen their reporting capability during a period of transition. This is a hands-on role focused on extracting, analysing, and presenting high-quality data from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, enabling key stakeholders across fundraising, marketing, and operational teams to make informed decisions. Given the nature of the assignment, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality are essential. Key Responsibilities • Extract, validate, and cleanse data from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge • Design and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards for multiple business functions • Produce ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights • Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and security • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase efficiency Required Experience • Proven experience working with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (essential) • Strong Business Intelligence and data analysis experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present clear, actionable insights • Strong Excel skills, with SQL or other reporting tool experience highly desirable • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment • Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism What's on Offer • Flexible part-time contract (2-3 days per week) • Fully remote working • Immediate start available • Opportunity to support a well-respected organisation delivering meaningful social impact
