Job description

Are you a sales-focused leader with a strong commercial mindset? We're looking for an ambitious Branch Manager to work closely with our current Branch Director, leading our Bristol operation into 2026 and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and driving profitable business growth from the front. What You'll Be Doing • Leading from the front to grow sales, increase market share and deliver branch profit targets. • Taking ownership of branch performance, with responsibility for driving revenue, controlling costs and improving profitability through effective P&L management. • Building strong, lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders. • Overseeing day-to-day branch operations, including stock management, logistics, customer service and team performance. • Ensuring operational excellence, maximising efficiency and maintaining high service standards across all areas of the branch. • Coaching, developing and inspiring your team to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional customer experiences. • Marketing your branch locally to attract new business, strengthen customer relationships and enhance brand reputation. What You'll Bring • Proven experience in a sales-led management or branch leadership role, ideally within a B2B, distribution, wholesale, trade or commercial environment. • An energetic and engaging leadership style, with a passion for developing both people and business performance. • Strong commercial expertise, with experience of managing budgets, controlling costs and delivering profitable growth. • The ability to remain resilient, focused and calm under pressure while making sound commercial decisions. • A proven track record of coaching, motivating and inspiring teams to perform, even during periods of challenge or change. • Operational expertise across stock management, logistics and customer service, with a focus on continuous improvement. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach. • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce would be advantageous) and Microsoft Office applications. • Experience within a B2B, distribution, wholesale or commercial environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Why Join Us? This is more than a management role – it's an opportunity to shape the future of one of our key branches and make a real impact on its continued success. We offer: • A supportive and collaborative working culture. • Recognition and reward for performance and results. • Opportunities for career progression within a growing business. • The chance to lead, influence and develop a successful branch with significant growth potential. Ready to take the next step in your leadership career? Apply now and be part of a team where your ambition, leadership and results will be recognised and rewarded. REF-229629
