Duties • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities • Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed • Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders • Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times • Support the team during busy periods by assisting with basic food preparation when necessary Skills • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques • Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately • Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to serve multiple tables efficiently • Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour • Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance the guest experience and increase sales • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour Benefits: • Discounted or free food • Employee discount • Flexible schedule Work authorisation: • United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
