Building Services Technician Location: London Salary: £25 Contract: Temporary Are you an experienced Building Services Technician looking for your next opportunity within Further Education? We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Building Services Technician to join a well-established FE College in London on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality Building Services education, working closely with lecturers and students across practical and workshop-based learning environments. The Role: As a Building Services Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of practical sessions, maintaining specialist equipment and workshops, and ensuring students have access to a safe and effective learning environment. You will work closely with curriculum teams to support the successful delivery of Building Services programmes. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing workshops, tools, equipment, and materials for practical lessons * Supporting lecturers and learners during practical sessions * Maintaining and servicing equipment and specialist resources * Managing stock levels and ordering materials where required * Ensuring workshops and learning environments comply with health and safety regulations * Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties * Supporting curriculum delivery across Building Services programmes Requirements: * Previous experience within Building Services, Facilities, Maintenance, or a related technical field * Relevant vocational qualifications within Building Services or a related discipline * Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and safe working practices * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * A commitment to supporting learners and maintaining high standards Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate * Opportunity to work within a respected Further Education environment * Supportive and collaborative working culture * Gain valuable experience within the education sector * Potential for future opportunities If you have the relevant experience and are looking for your next opportunity within Further Education, we would love to hear from you.
