Annual salary: up to £55,000.00 Business Analyst Location: Remote role but travel required where needed Salary up to £55,000 per annum plus £4,000 company car allowance Contract: Full time – 2-year fixed term contracts, Monday to Friday About the Role: Mears Housing Management is looking for a Business Analyst to help deliver the Property Management Platform (PMP), a transformation programme for the Asylum Accommodation & Support Services Contract (AASC). This is a great opportunity to turn operational insight into clear requirements that shape system design, testing and successful transition into BAU. PMP is being introduced to provide a single, more reliable way to manage property, occupancy and operational information across AASC. It will improve data quality, strengthen reporting and support more consistent ways of working across teams. You will be the link between operational and project teams, helping to understand what colleagues need, translate that into practical requirements and keep delivery focused on outcomes that work in the real world. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyse and clarify business requirements with operational and project teams. • Produce process maps, user stories, specifications and acceptance criteria. • Maintain traceability between requirements, solutions and expected benefits. • Support testing, UAT, implementation planning and transition into BAU. • Ensure documentation is accurate, structured and audit-ready. Role Criteria: • Experience documenting business requirements in a project or programme environment. • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and analytical skills. • Ability to produce clear process maps, user stories and supporting documentation. • Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and improvement.
