Join Our Team as a Business Architect! • Location: Remote • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract • Contract Length: 6 Months • Daily Rate: Negotiable Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for transforming business processes? Do you have a knack for designing robust frameworks that enhance operational efficiency? If so, we want you to join our team as a Business Architect! Role Purpose: As a Business Architect, you'll be at the forefront of our SECC Strategic Early Capacity Commitment transformation programme. Your mission? To formalise, document, and elevate the end-to-end business architecture that supports our operating model. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring clarity in our processes, governance, and systems, while identifying risks and providing actionable recommendations that drive scalable success. Key Responsibilities: Business Architecture & Process Definition: • Lead the formalisation of the SECC end-to-end business process. • Develop clear and consistent process maps covering all stages of the SECC lifecycle. • Ensure processes align with strategic objectives and deliver operational efficiencies. Roles, Responsibilities & Accountability: • Define and document RACI models for key processes. • Identify ownership gaps and propose remediation strategies. Systems & IT Enablement: • Document IT systems and tools that support each stage of the SECC process. • Highlight system dependencies and data hand-offs. Risk, Control & Weakness Assessment: • Assess the end-to-end SECC process to identify weaknesses and risks. • Propose pragmatic mitigation options aligned with programme maturity. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: • Engage with senior programme leads, operational teams, and digital colleagues. • Facilitate workshops to validate processes and assumptions. Assurance, Documentation & Handover: • Produce a suite of coherent business architecture artefacts. • Support knowledge transfer to BAU teams and programme leadership. Key Deliverables: By the end of your assignment, you'll deliver: • A formalised end-to-end SECC process model • Detailed process maps for the entire SECC lifecycle • Comprehensive stakeholder mapping with clearly defined RACI matrices • A documented view of IT systems and technology dependencies • An assessment of process weaknesses and risks • A prioritised set of recommendations for improvement Essential Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as a Business Architect, ideally within large-scale programmes or regulated environments. • Strong expertise in process mapping and operating model design. • Demonstrable experience in defining RACI and governance structures. • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills. • Strong written and visual communication skills.
