Business Development Manager
Killingworth, Newcastle upon Tyne
£60,000 - £80,000 Basic (Negotiable DOE)
Office Based with UK-wide Travel
Our client is a growing specialist access and building maintenance business delivering rope access, commercial window cleaning and maintenance solutions across the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of new business development, build a strong sales pipeline, and help drive the next phase of the company's growth.
The Role
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across building maintenance, rope access, commercial window cleaning, construction and offshore sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, facilities managers and end users
• Generate and manage a pipeline of opportunities from initial contact through to contract award
• Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events across the UK
• Support tender submissions, pricing and commercial negotiations
• Introduce and develop CRM processes and sales reporting
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are commercially viable and successfully delivered
About You
• Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales or Commercial role
• Background within rope access, construction, building maintenance, facilities management, offshore or industrial services
• Strong industry knowledge and existing contacts
• Ability to work independently and build a pipeline from scratch
• Commercially aware, organised and target driven
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel nationwide
