Business Development & Marketing Manager £50,000 London, UK Permanent Our client is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead and scale their marketing/sales function. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a commercially focused marketing professional who can combine strategic thinking with operational execution, lead generation, team performance, and business growth in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do: • Lead and develop the marketing/sales team, driving performance and accountability. • Deliver lead generation strategies to support ambitious growth targets and CPL objectives. • Partner with senior leadership to align marketing activity with business goals. • Monitor and optimise key metrics including leads and conversions. • Work closely with the E-commerce Manager and external marketing partners. • Oversee onboarding and development of new team members. • Implement scalable processes, reporting and operational improvements. • Manage third-party agencies, ensuring strong performance and ROI. • Produce accurate reporting and actionable performance insights. • Provide structure and leadership during a period of business growth and change. What you'll need: • Significant experience in a senior marketing leadership role (typically 5+ years or equivalent) • Proven experience managing and developing marketing/sales teams. • Strong track record in lead generation and customer acquisition. • Commercially focused with a strong understanding of CPL, ROI and lead quality. • Experience building and scaling high performing teams and processes. • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills. • Excellent communication skills with a direct and confident approach. • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Results driven and focused on continuous improvement.
