On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Business Readiness Analyst, for an initial 9 month contract based in Edinburgh or Stirling. Hybrid with 2 days per week on-site. We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer workplace accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role. Purpose of the role We're looking for an experienced Business Readiness Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of change across a diverse portfolio of finance projects. Working within a busy change environment, you'll ensure business areas are prepared for go-live by identifying impacted teams, defining readiness requirements and coordinating activities that enable successful implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple high-profile projects, partnering with a wide range of stakeholders and playing a key role in driving successful business change within a regulated financial services environment. What you'll do • Lead Business Readiness activities across multiple concurrent projects. • Identify business areas impacted by change and determine their readiness requirements. • Work closely with stakeholders to define and agree go-live readiness criteria. • Coordinate readiness activities across multiple business teams to ensure milestones are achieved. • Track progress against readiness plans and provide regular reporting into governance and steering forums. • Escalate risks, issues and dependencies that could impact successful project delivery. • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Change and the wider business. • Coordinate business readiness sign-offs, ensuring teams are confident and prepared for implementation. • Support senior stakeholders by providing clear visibility of business readiness throughout the project lifecycle. • Contribute to continuous improvement of Business Readiness approaches across the wider change portfolio. The Skills you'll need • Proven experience delivering Business Readiness activities within complex change or transformation programmes. • Previous experience working within Financial Services, with exposure to finance or regulatory change environments. • Strong understanding of business change and the end-to-end project lifecycle. • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and managing competing priorities across several projects simultaneously. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the business. • Experience producing governance reporting, tracking readiness activities and managing business sign-off processes. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to identify, manage and escalate risks and issues appropriately. • An understanding of finance functions such as Financial Accounting, Tax, Actuarial or Financial Modelling would be advantageous. • Background as a Business Analyst, Business Readiness Analyst, Business Change Analyst or similar change-focused role. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and drive successful outcomes across cross-functional teams.
