Business Support Administrator Location: Gloucestershire Contract: Temporary 4–6 Weeks ongoing temp Hours: 37.5 hours a week Mon-Fri Salary: £13.50-£14.50 per hour Reed are seeking a proactive and organised business support administrator to join a well known establishment on a temporary basis for 4-6 weeks for cover. This is a varied and hands-on role that will provide essential office and administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while covering a period of absence. The successful candidate will be adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a key point of contact for office-related matters while supporting colleagues across a range of administrative and project activities. Key Responsibilities Office Management • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a professional and well-organised working environment. • Order and manage office supplies and consumables. • Manage the office phone line and general inbox. • Welcome visitors and clients, providing a professional front-of-house service. • Arrange catering and refreshments for meetings, training sessions, and new starters. • Act as the primary point of contact for office-related queries. Administration Support • Provide general administrative assistance across the business. • Handle incoming and outgoing post and general correspondence • Support client and stakeholder communications • Assist project teams with formatting documents and presentations • Purchase supplies and equipment as required. • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure documentation is stored correctly and kept up to date. Skills & Experience • Previous experience in an administrative or office management position • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
