Buyer – Rotherham / Hybrid Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business in Rotherham who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their Purchasing team. As a Buyer, you will play a key role in procuring goods, equipment and materials in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner whilst maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Hours of work / Benefits • 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday with a 1pm finish every Friday! • Flexible hybrid working (work from home 2 days per week) • CIPS study support and development • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Annual pay reviews • Profit share bonus scheme • Westfield health • Death in service • Regular company events and awards • Pension scheme The Role • Developing and implementing effective sourcing and commodity strategies • Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers through RFQs, benchmarking and capability assessments • Negotiating competitive pricing, commercial terms and long-term supply agreements • Managing purchasing activity to ensure uninterrupted production, including analysing MRP demand and maintaining accurate MRP data • Leading supplier performance reviews and implementing corrective actions where required • Managing inbound supply, reschedules, expedites and order cancellations to minimise risk to the business The Person • Previous experience in a similar role • Good systems experience • Confident communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships About Elevation Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
