C2 Bin Lorry Driver Location: EH11 4HD Hours of work: 4 days on 4 days off or Tuesday to Friday with 45 minute unpaid breaks Rate of Pay: £16.30 - £17.61 per hour Temporary ongoing work with no end date Immediate Starts Available Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate an C2 bin lorry on designated routes within Edinburgh. • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal and recycling facilities. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. • Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle. • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public. Requirements: • Valid HGV C2 (Class 2) licence. • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. • Digital Tachograph card. • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols. • Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
