In this role, the successful CAD Technician or similar will support a numberof highway design projects, producing drawings, calculations and technical documents using AutoCAD. You'll work alongside experienced engineers through design and construction stages, helping deliver highway improvements, new roads, and infrastructure projects. You'll also liaise with utility companies, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure projects progress smoothly. The ideal CAD Technician is looking to build a long-term career within highways and transport planning, working on varied projects with ongoing training and progression opportunities.
