Are you an experienced Calibration Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have opportunities for Calibration Engineers to operate from our Bristol or Birmingham UKAS Laboratories. About the RoleYour Key Responsibilities Joining Rhopoint Metrology as a Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibration and measurements in accordance with UKAS Calibration procedures, Traceable calibration procedures as well as Customers specific requirements and specifications. You will maintain all relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable format utilizing our calibration and database management Indysoft. • Calibration of Measuring equipment in varying disciplines including: Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical DC & LF, Temperature, Torque, Pressure, Mass, (list non exhaustive)………. RequirementsPreferred requirements • Previous experience working in a Calibration Laboratory • Electrical Calibration DC/LF Equipment to UKAS Standards • An understanding of BS EN ISO 17025 and or UKAS Calibration procedures • Technical qualification such as, HNC, NVQ/BTEC, or signatory status, or relevant experience • Knowledge and or previous experience of calibration practices and theories • Computer literate with a knowledge Windows-based operating systems and or Indysoft. • Experience of working within Customer focused environment • Must be a Team Player What Rhopoint can offer you Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be offered: • A competitive salary, • 23 days holiday plus statutory holidays, • long service days are also accrued after a period of continual service, • company contributory pension scheme, • corporate workwear, • private healthcare, • critical illness cover & life assurance.
