Job description

• To assist with nurse-led implantable loop recorder implantation sessions, ensuring procedure rooms, consumables, and specialist equipment are prepared and available to support efficient patient throughput. • To participate in cardiac rhythm device services, including scheduled implantable device reviews, remote monitoring activities, and supervised pacing clinics, ensuring all activity is recorded in accordance with departmental requirements. • To perform and document daily checks of resuscitation equipment and associated emergency resources, confirming readiness for clinical use and promptly reporting any deficiencies for resolution. • To operate and maintain electronic patient administration and cardiology information systems, ensuring records are updated accurately and that data handling complies with information governance standards. • To work in accordance with national guidance, professional standards, and Trust policies, maintaining compliance with infection prevention measures, clinical governance requirements, and local operational procedures. • To support the upkeep of clinical areas and equipment, maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment while adapting to changing service requirements and undertaking additional responsibilities as agreed with management.
