Job description

Responsibilities of this job role To ensure safe and compliant preparation and maintenance of invasive cardiology environments by checking, organising, and replenishing procedural equipment, ensuring all required consumables are appropriately rotated and readily available to support uninterrupted clinical activity. To perform specialist haemodynamic monitoring within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, supporting physiological data collection during interventional procedures and ensuring accurate real-time monitoring in line with clinical requirements. To utilise hospital and cardiology-specific digital systems for administrative and clinical workflow management, ensuring efficient navigation of patient pathways and supporting the smooth coordination of cardiology services. To maintain high standards of environmental cleanliness and infection prevention within clinical and laboratory areas, ensuring adherence to Trust policies and contributing to patient and staff safety. To participate in departmental research and service evaluation initiatives, assisting in data collection and supporting improvements in clinical practice through structured project involvement. To demonstrate ongoing professional development by identifying personal training needs, actively engaging in skill enhancement opportunities, and maintaining competence in line with evolving clinical and technological advancements.
