Shift Patterns & Hours • Hours: 45+ hours per week. • Flexibility Required: Ability to work 5-6 days per week. • Shifts: Typically between 07:00 - 22:00 (including potential for split shifts, long days, and night shifts). Key Responsibilities • Direct Care & Support: Provide high-quality, person-centered care to older adults within a care home setting, strictly following personalized care plans. • Daily Living Assistance: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. • Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and closely monitor resident well-being. • Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a safe, supportive living environment, managing moving and handling tasks safely, and undertaking lone working duties where required. Requirements & Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting older adults in a care setting (previous care home experience is highly preferred). • Core Skills: Proficient in personal care, safe moving and handling, and medication administration. • Location Flexibility: Previous experience with island or remote placements is a major plus, but not essential. • Driving License: A driving license is preferred due to travel distances, but not mandatory. • Gender-Specific Roles: We are specifically seeking female staff due to the personal care requirements of our current residents; however, male staff may be utilized in certain circumstances.* Apply Today - Immediate Starts Available!
