Job description

Main Duties of the Job • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans. • Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence and choice. • Assist residents to maintain their wellbeing, comfort and quality of life. • Encourage participation in social, recreational and meaningful daily activities. • Build positive and professional relationships with residents, relatives and visitors. • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns or changes appropriately. • Support residents with nutrition, hydration and general wellbeing needs where required. • Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support to residents. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency of care. • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment throughout the home. • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and control policies and procedures at all times. • Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development activities. • Uphold the values and standards of Telford Hall Care Home and Sandstone Care Group. • Support colleagues and contribute positively to a culture of teamwork, respect and professionalism. • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the effective operation of the home.
