Job description

Main Duties of the Job • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans. • Support residents throughout the night, promoting comfort, dignity and wellbeing. • Assist residents with personal care and night-time routines where required. • Monitor residents' wellbeing and promptly report any concerns or changes in condition. • Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship to residents. • Promote residents' independence, privacy and choice at all times. • Support residents with hydration and general wellbeing needs throughout the night. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency of care. • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment throughout the home. • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and control procedures at all times. • Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development activities. • Uphold the values and standards of Telford Hall Care Home and Sandstone Care Group. • Support colleagues and contribute positively to a culture of teamwork, professionalism and respect. • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the effective operation of the home.
