Job Title: - Care Support Worker - Mental Health
Trust:Devon Partnership NHS Trust
Location: -
Trust also covers areas in Exeter, Torquay,
Ivybridge, Barnstaple. Main hospitals are Exeter and Torquay.
Pay Rate: £13.13 - £22.19 per hour
Shift Patterns:7:30am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 12:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 12:30pm to 8:30pm, 3:30pm to 8:30pm, 8pm to 8am

What you can add:
• Monitoring
patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
• Assisting in the
delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
• Ensuring that
the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and
wellbeing
• Assisting
patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living
whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected
The role will involve, but not be limited to you
performing the above.
What you'll need:
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant in an hospital environment or a mental health care home (Qualifications required to accompany individuals with 6-12 months experience, which is a practical sign off)
or
•
Studying as a Student Nurse
with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, studying towards a Mental Health
Nursing degree
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable
additional certification and skills.
