Job description

Casual Education Facilitator £17.16 Per hour About the role This is a casual role and hours will vary according to the demands of the service, with an amount of hours not guaranteed. We are looking to grow our Education Facilitator team with enthusiastic workshop leaders, skilled in engaging, entertaining, and inspiring audiences of all ages. With a focus on providing extraordinary experiences for children in formal and informal learning, this role supports Rugby Art Gallery and Museum in bringing the arts and history learning to life. Facilitators will lead workshops, utilising storytelling and drama skills to deliver immersive and narrative driven learning experiences, as well as encouraging hands-on and embodied learning of both art and history. Whether it is stepping into role in a bustling roman market whilst delivering a session on Roman domestic life or mastering a new craft as we invite children in to enjoy our exhibitions in school holidays, this role provides the variety to discover, enjoy, learn and play as we encourage our visitors to do the same. In addition to delivering sessions with children, facilitators will support a range of onsite and offsite activities, engaging participants of all ages and backgrounds with art and heritage. This includes the Good Times for adults living with dementia, and our regular open to all art group, Express. We are looking for friendly and dynamic team players, who through confident and welcoming communication will foster inclusive environments for all to learn and play.
