Job description

• Deliver emergency and non-emergency response driving courses, driver assessments and high-speed driving assessments. • Provide driver education and development programmes for staff and external organisations where appropriate. • Deliver engaging, high-quality training using classroom, practical and digital learning methods. • Coach, mentor and support learners, providing constructive feedback and ongoing development. • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate training records in accordance with awarding body and organisational requirements. • Develop and maintain training resources, including e-learning packages, videos and online learning materials. • Produce reports on training activity, learner performance, development needs and quality assurance. • Represent the organisation at community engagement events and commercial training activities. • Promote best practice, professionalism and continuous improvement across all areas of driver education. • Ensure all training vehicles, classrooms and equipment are maintained, secure, clean, safe and ready for use, reporting any defects promptly. • Maintain compliance with all organisational policies, mandatory training requirements and professional standards. • Contribute to the curriculum development, producing high-quality, innovative teaching and learning material, informed by research and professional practice (where requested) to support and develop student learning, engagement and application in practice (where requested) at the appropriate level. • Assist in recruitment activities, including Open Days, interviews or assessments You will also demonstrate: • Significant experience delivering emergency response and advanced driver training. • Excellent coaching, mentoring and assessment skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Experience maintaining accurate learner records and producing training reports. • A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high educational standards. • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary education team.
