Job Overview We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties • Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation • Develop and implement creative menus in line with current culinary trends and guest preferences • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to minimise waste • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment • Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction • Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold organisational efficiency • Uphold hospitality standards by maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Experience • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing kitchen teams • Extensive background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices • Experience in menu development and culinary innovation is highly desirable • Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service excellence • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality This role is perfect for a motivated culinary professional eager to lead by example while delivering memorable dining experiences.
