Chemistry Lecturer • Location: West London • Job Type: 19 Hours Teaching plus Admin Time • Salary: £30-£40 per hour for teaching, £16.59 per hour for admin We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Lecturer to join our team in West London. This role involves teaching Chemistry and BTEC Applied Science units, with additional compensated admin time. Ideal for professionals passionate about education and science. Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Chemistry and BTEC Applied Science units. • Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards. • Assess and evaluate students' progress in Chemistry and related science units. • Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment. • Perform administrative duties related to teaching and student management. • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methods and curriculum. Required Skills & Qualifications: • A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field. • Proven experience as a Chemistry Lecturer or in a similar educational role. • Strong understanding of Chemistry concepts and BTEC Applied Science curriculum. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to inspire and motivate students. • Organisational skills for effectively managing teaching and admin responsibilities.
