Job description

The Chief Pharmacy Technician Aseptic Services provides senior leadership and operational management of Aseptic Services across Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will ensure the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of aseptic products, including chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, CIVAS and clinical trials. The post will lead the strategic development of the service, including supporting service expansion and the implementation of advanced therapies. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards (including GMP and QA requirements), leading audit and inspection readiness, and ensuring robust quality systems are in place. The post holder will provide leadership and line management to the aseptic technical workforce, ensuring effective workforce planning, training, and staff wellbeing. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe systems of work and high-quality patient care.
