Childcare Solicitor// Hybrid// Nort East// £65ph My Local Authority client based in the North East are looking for a Childcare Solicitor to come in on an initial 8 month contract with view to extension. The role will consist of the below responsibilities: • To support the Chief Solicitor to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective legal services to the Council. • To carry out research and advise on all aspects of local government law and practice, with supervision. • To assist in the preparation of legal proceedings including drafting applications and preparing and maintain associated paperwork. • To attend court, tribunals and other meetings in order to observe proceedings, make records and ensure that the local authority carries out its duties in respect of the same.
