Childrens Play and Health Care Worker (6-12 month Experience) Must DRIVE & have OWN CAR. No visa Sponsorship available. Location:Stockport and within Greater ManchesterContract Type:Variable hoursHours:Part-Time & Full-Time (see below)Hourly Rate:£12.60 About Us At Lagans Foundation, were not your typical care provider. We work differently because children need different things. As aChildrens Play and Healthcare Worker, youll join our vibrant internal care team, supporting a child with health and developmental needs at home, during school transport, and in the community. Youll be there to play, engage, and care not just provide personal support. This role isnt about ticking care plans its about creating moments that matter. Shifts and Hours:Shifts may vary based on the needs of the children and families. We are looking for someone available: • Monday, Wednesday, Friday:4:30 pm 6:30 pm • Saturday:8:30 am 10:30 am Additional shifts may be available depending on training and availability. We are happy to discuss flexible options with candidates. What Youll Do • Use play to connect, support learning, development and emotional wellbeing • Actively contribute to meaningful, fun, and safe experiences • Provide high-quality care alongside play, including personal care where needed • Build trusted relationships with families and colleagues • Think on your feet and adapt to each childs unique world • Attend regular team meetings, training, and supervision • Keep up-to-date records and contribute to excellent communication across the team • Be a true ambassador of Lagans Foundation we are one family What Makes You a Good Fit We hire people, not just qualifications.
