Childrens Service Registered Manager -Intensive Community Support Service, Peterborough
Supporting Young People from Puberty to 25 Years
Reports to:Head of Service
Professional Accountability: Board of Directors
Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible including participation in on-call and operational support where required)
Location:Service based in Peterborough with travel in Cambridgeshire
Salary: £57,528 annual salary, dependent on experience and contracted hours.
Contract:Permanent
Registration: CQC Registered Manager and Ofsted Registered Manager (Peterborough/Cambridgeshire)
Responsible for: Day-to-day operational leadership, regulatory compliance, safeguarding, workforce and quality

Nurtures Intensive Community Support Service is a new dedicated model of care which works alongside children and young people during ordinary everyday life, recognising that ordinary moments create extraordinary opportunities for healing, learning and recovery.
The Registered Manager is the legally accountable operational leader responsible for ensuring the Intensive Community Support Service delivers safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services. The post holder will ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations, CQC Fundamental Standards and, where applicable, Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations. They will lead the day-to-day operation of the service, creating an environment where children and young people experience safety, stability and compassionate care whilst supporting staff to flourish.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the Registered Manager with legal accountability for regulated activities.
• Ensure continuous compliance with CQC and Ofsted standards where applicable.
• Lead safeguarding, risk management and incident oversight.
• Recruit, induct, supervise and develop the workforce.
• Maintain governance systems, audits and quality improvement programmes.
• Manage complaints, Duty of Candour, notifications and whistleblowing.
• Develop positive relationships with families, commissioners and partner agencies.
• Support mobilisation, operational readiness and business continuity.
