Children's Social Worker - Integrated front door

Our client Bolton Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Integrated front door team. Main Duties • The provision of a purposeful, professional social work duty service to children and families and partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door in accordance with statutory requirements and Departmental Policies. • To contribute to the planning and development of the Team's and the Department's Referral and Assessment Services as required and as appropriate • To participate in the organisation and administration of the work of the post so that the job of providing the service gets done. • To provide management information to assist in the setting, implementing, and monitoring of the Department's strategies and services • To contribute to the allocation of the work of the Team • To participate in providing a duty service to all office visitors • To gather information to decide if Section 47 (Child Protection) enquiries are required or if a children and family needs assessment is needed • To work directly with partner agencies and families offering advice and guidance using a range of social work knowledge and skills • To contribute to 'front door' duty provision which involves the provision of generic advice and information to all office callers • To arrange services and screen referrals which require further assessment Benefits of working with Remedy • A personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant. • Top tier supplier across London giving us first access to jobs • Referral bonus - up to £250* per person placed. • Double payrolls each week. *Terms & Conditions apply You will be required to fully register with Remedy for all locum positions.
