Job description

Our client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their MASH Team. Fantastic payrate of £39 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: • Triaging incoming safeguarding referrals and completing initial risk assessments to determine required intervention levels. • Gathering and analysing information from key partner agencies including health, education, police, and early help. • Applying local threshold guidance to decide pathways such as Level 2, 3 or 4 intervention, early help, statutory action, or signposting. • Maintaining accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR and statutory safeguarding procedures. • Offering safeguarding advice and consultation to multi-agency professionals. • Participating in multi-agency strategy discussions to support coordinated safeguarding responses. • Ensuring timely decision-making that prioritises the safety and welfare of children and young people.
