Job description

Our Client, a Merseyside council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Young Persons Team. Fantastic payrate of up to £342 per day! Responsibilities of this role: • Lead, supervise and support a team of practitioners working with young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes. • Provide oversight and management of complex cases, ensuring effective assessment, planning and intervention. • Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and responded to appropriately, promoting the welfare and safety of young people. • Monitor team performance, quality of practice and compliance with statutory duties, policies and procedures. • Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings, working collaboratively with partner organisations to coordinate support for young people. • Support staff development through regular supervision, performance management and reflective practice. • Manage resources effectively to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, responsive service. • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development initiatives that enhance outcomes for young people.
