Civil Engineer Poole £35,000 - £50,000 We are working with a respected engineering consultancy looking to grow their Civils team out of their Poole office. Their varied project portfolio includes multi-story residential developments, new housing schemes, schools, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects ranging from small-scale works to multi-million-pound schemes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their team. The Role Working alongside Senior Engineers, Engineers and Technicians, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to varied projects while developing your technical and professional skills within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the development and detailed design of civil engineering schemes, including highways, drainage, earthworks and associated infrastructure. • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation in accordance with current standards and best practice. • Produce high-quality engineering drawings and models using industry-standard software. • Support the technical delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. • Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the design process. • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve technical challenges. • Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections to gather information and monitor project progress. About You Ideally, you'll have: • Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment. • Knowledge of highways, drainage and infrastructure design. • Strong technical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and organisational abilities. • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service. Software Experience with any of the following software would be advantageous: • AutoCAD (including Vehicle Tracking) • Civil 3D • MicroDrainage • PDS (roads, drainage, traffic signs and road markings) In return: • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • 5% company pension contributions • Hybrid working • Free Parking
