The Business Join a well-established engineering consultancy delivering complex civil and structural projects across a diverse built environment portfolio. The organisation supports a wide range of schemes, from asset refurbishment and infrastructure upgrades to large-scale, future-focused developments. Working within a small, collaborative civil/structural team, you’ll be part of an environment that blends technical excellence with practical delivery. Leadership brings a mix of consulting and contracting experience, offering strong support and exposure across different project types. The Opportunity This Civil Project Engineer role offers the chance to work across a varied project portfolio, combining technical design with hands-on project delivery. You’ll take ownership of schemes from concept through to completion, gaining valuable exposure across the full lifecycle. Projects range from smaller upgrade works (£200k–£500k) to multi-million-pound developments, alongside early-stage strategic programmes. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering civil and structural engineering projects end-to-end • Producing design work, calculations and asset assessments • Coordinating stakeholders including clients, contractors and internal teams • Supporting procurement and overseeing site activity • Leading meetings and presenting technical information clearly What we’re looking for • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer • Strong technical grounding in design, calculations and structural assessment • Background within infrastructure, industrial or consultancy environments • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex information to non-technical experts • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach • Comfortable balancing technical work with project delivery responsibilities Why This Role?
