Claims Adjuster - Financial Lines Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day remote) A highly regarded Lloyd’s lead market insurer is seeking a Claims Adjuster - Financial Lines to join its established casualty (PI/D&O / FI) claims team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible, high-autonomy role within a collaborative and technically strong environment. The Opportunity You will join a specialist team handling a diverse and complex portfolio of casualty claims, with a particular focus on Financial Lines (D&O and FI) and Professional Indemnity. This role offers significant primary lead responsibility, with adjusters typically managing the majority of claims from first notification through to resolution. You will play a key role in driving strategy, influencing outcomes, and maintaining strong relationships across the market. Key Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines claims from inception to settlement • Conduct coverage analysis, liability assessment, and quantum evaluation • Act as a point of contact for clients and brokers, contributing to negotiations and providing clear updates • Build and maintain strong broker and stakeholder relationships • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards • Contribute to team performance through collaboration and knowledge sharing About You • Experience handling Professional/Financial Lines claims • Confident in developing skills in managing complex liability and coverage issues independently • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-facing approach • Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to develop skills in managing sensitive or high-value claims What’s on Offer • Competitive base salary (transparent information will be provided to you at first consultation with us). • Discretionary performance based bonus • Flexible working arrangements, including compressed hours options • A collaborative team culture with strong leadership and support • The opportunity to build your market profile and broker network Why Apply?
