Class 2 Refuse Driver

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers in and around Loughborough. Main responsibilities will include: • Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job • Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal • Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed • Complete relevant paperwork in real time • Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use • Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles. • Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users • Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement What you'll need to succeed • Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points) • Driver CPC • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to undertake tasks Benefits • Holiday accrual- which can be paid out at any time • Gain valuable experience working for a reputable company • Weekly Pay • ASAP starts available • Pension Scheme • Overtime & Shift Premiums available The hours for the role are Tuesday - Friday 6am-4pm The hourly rate for this position is starting from £21.05 This is a long term, ongoing opportunity, starting ASAP.
