Cleaner

This role is based at our remote office on Parkway, Bridgwater covering the cleaning tasks at Connaught House and Winsor House. Hours of work are 4 hours Monday and Friday, 3 hours Wednesday. preferred start time of 8am we can offer some flexibility for the right person. Role Purpose To carry out cleaning operations of Homes in Somerset run accommodations and halls. Work as part of a building cleaning team To work as part of a team, and on own initiative to coordinate the cleaning operations across Homes in Somerset accommodations and halls to the specification set by the Supervisor. To carry out quality cleaning tasks To conduct all cleaning functions to the standard and specification as set out by the Cleaning Supervisor. Work in a polite and helpful manner, consulting with colleagues, staff, and visitors. Manual handling duties such as removal of rubbish and recycling, vacuuming, dusting. Cleaning of Kitchen areas and Toilets to a high standard. Understand Council assets To have and demonstrate an understanding of Council assets, maintaining confidentiality, having a professional approach, and conducting day to day cleaning functions with minimal disruption to tenants, members of the public and building users. Reporting of any issues To identify and report to the Cleaning Supervisor any areas of concern, identified damage/repairs reported promptly and accurately. Report any issues with cleaning equipment.
